My mom and dad had many great times with Jeanette and Jack! I hope they are all sitting on the porch enjoying a cup of coffee and lots of laughs! I'm so sorry for your loss. Love and peace to the entire Ernst family - Jenifer Angerer

I met Jack a couple of years ago when he joined the Family Caregivers Center "Together in Song" chorus. We were assigned to sit together, or near each other, during practice for several concerts. I soon learned that Jack's presence was warm and beaming -- he seemed glad to meet and chat with everyone! One of the treats I looked forward to when coming to choral practice was kidding around with Jack, and helping each other be on the right page of the music . . . . After the pandemic shut down our activities, we all have been looking forward to getting started on another concert, this year we hope -- but without Jack it's not going to be as much fun. I am glad he was in my life, if only briefly. God give him voice now to sing forever . . . .

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May you find comfort and peace. One day at a time. Blessings, The Heathman family and Grandma(friends of Lillie)

We were extremely saddened to read of Jack’s passing. Our family ties have reached across multiple generations. From overnights to Wisconsin trips, the Ernst-Pohorsky friendship was strong. The memories and bonding have passed the test of time. Please accept our sincere sympathy and condolences. One of my favorite memories is the great turtle hunt in Wisconsin, and the “cleaning party” on the dock afterward. —- Dick, Steve, Judi Pohorsky & families

Sorry for your loss. May prayers and love from family and friends give you comfort after losing both your parents in less than a year.I knew your parents though Grateful Grannies and they were classmates of my late husband.

Our condolences go out to Jack's entire family. We have so many great memories of him and Jeanette in Moose cabin at the resort. We looked forward to September and their extended stays and sitting around the campfire visiting for over 15 years. Always a quiet friendly smile on Jack. Say hi to Jeanette for us all. The Brandons

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jack's entire family. I was fortunate to get to work with Jack at Harnischfeger. Both he and Jeanette were two wonderful people. Am sure you will all miss him as you miss Jeanette but just cling to the many wonderful and happy memories you all had together while they were here with you.

I went to school with Jeanette and Jack she was one of my best friends. They made a great couple and were always together. My sympathies to the whole family. They will be together again. Caryle Pazdernik-Steggall

I only knew Jack as a co-worker at Rockwell. He was always polite and a gentleman. He was a truly nice guy to work with. My deepest sympathies to his entire family. Carolyn Raymond

"Gentle heart and kind spirit" is a perfect obit description for Jack. Our hearts go out to all you children, grandkids, siblings, spouses and Tom. We miss Jeanette terribly, so now loosing Jack is rather bittersweet as they are together again. We hold close the memories from High School through the Grateful Grannies years. Sending Love and hugs

We were blessed to enjoy several summers next door to Jack and Jeanette at Little Mantrap Lake. Such beautiful people. Godspeed Jack! Give Jeanette a hug from us.

I knew Jack and Jeanette thru my friend, Judy Kindig. Both were so giving to Judy, their church and their community. Loved seeing them at the Sweet Corn Festivals. Last time I talked to Jack was at Mercy Hospital where he was singing in a choir--smiling and wearing a big cowboy hat. I'm so sorry for your loss, but happy that he and Jeanette are reunited. They were just a great couple.

VERY sorry to hear that Jack has passed away. I will always remember what a friend he was and an even greater person. Truly enjoyed Jack and his entire family. He was always willing to help others. He will be missed.

Jack was a valued co-worker at Rockwell Collins. He was so very pleasant to work with. He was so very proud of his family! The one time I ran into him after he retired was at a sporting event for a grandchild, and he was as dedicated to watching that grandchild as he had previously been to the excellent work he did at Rockwell.. I know that Jeanette's passing must have been very hard on him. Sending my sympathies to his entire family.

We always remember Jack and Jeannette walking by Wilson as we worked on the grounds and as they were supporting Evan and Lillie at Wilson events. Our prayers come your way as we remember a wonderful man.
