Aunt Bette was one of my very favorite aunts. Although we lived many states apart, each time I visited Aunt Bette and Uncle Jim, I felt like one of their girls, sort of a 5th daughter. My deepest sympathy goes out to Bette’s entire family. Love & Aloha, ALWAYS, from Hawaii. Jaffie, Jaime & Daisie

Our heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your Mom. We have tears on this side of heaven and many cheers on the other side welcoming her. You never stop missing your Mom. Stay strong, hug each often and remember each day is a gift. Anne and Jim Fitzpatrick

Charming, delightful, humble and loving. Bette had the whole package of God's Blessings and she shared those Blessings freely and widely. Kathy and I would serve cookies and drinks with Bette and her daughter, Deb, and it was a highlight to learn hospitality from a "master" and serve alongside an exemplar member of our parish. Bette's entry into heaven has to be a "no brainer" for Saint Peter and all the Angels, Saints, Holy men and Holy women will welcome her into God's eternal Grace as their peer after a life filled with faith and service. Kathy and I offer condolences, yes, but with the smiles that hold dear a life of an example of the Light of Christ. A celebration awaits for family and friends, as their tears can be turned into dancing for this lovely lady. God Bless the memory of Bette Soukup.

Aunt Bette, Was always a kind, genuine, positive person who influenced me, especially growing up. She could keep a conversation interesting, informational, and fun. I always enjoyed being around her. Our deepest condolensces to her family. Nephew Jerry (Butch) and Geri Soukup,
