Wanda Kay Krapfl (Starks), 72, of Cedar Rapids, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family August 4, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. Wanda was born November 2, 1948, in Springville, IA and graduated from Springville High School in 1966. She was married for almost 54 years to Donald Krapfl. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting and sharing the love of Jesus with everyone she met. She attended New Covenant Bible Church in Cedar Rapids, IA.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Krapfl of Cedar Rapids; children, Pam (Don) Winchester of Cedar Rapids, Susan (Leon) Krapfl-Marshall of Woodbridge, VA, and Rustin (Tiffany) Krapfl of Orland, IN; 10 grandchildren: Emily, Bethany, Donald, and Adeline Winchester, Morgan and Logan Marshall, and Heather, Grace, Maebel, and Luke Krapfl; 5 siblings: Virginia (Larry) Burkey, Linda Butler, Ethel Jones, Richard (Angie) Starks, and Russell Starks, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Virginia Starks and her brother Edwin (Butch) Starks.
The visitation will be held at New Covenant Bible Church on Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM. A Celebration of life Service will be held at 12:00 PM by Rev. Jim Goodrich. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
