Memorial
Joshua Rawson Behel, 28, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully August 21, 2021. A visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3:00 PM on Friday, August 27, 2021, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A memorial service will follow the visitation and begin at 3:00 PM.
Josh was born May 3, 1993, to Ross and Tami Behel in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated from Washington High School in 2011. After high school he worked various jobs. Josh’s more passionate job for the last two and a half years was working with Ryan Lane installing windows and doors.
His hobbies included riding his motorcycle, anything to do with the outdoors, hanging out with his friends and family, and spending as much time with his pride and joy Macsen and Kinzlee. Anything that Josh was involved in he made it fun and brought a smile to everyone’s face. His personality lit up every room that he entered. There wasn’t a person that Josh met that he didn’t like, and there weren’t many, if any that didn’t like him. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.
Left behind to continue his memory are his parents, Ross and Tami Behel; his sister, Samantha Behel (Immanuel Byrne); nephew and niece, Macsen and Kinzlee Byrne; Grandma and Grandpa Behel, and Grandma Thomas, along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his Grandpa Thomas and his great grandparents.
