RIP Jim, Shipmate USN, Classmate at Iowa, Coworker at Rockwell Collins, and Former Neighbor on Falbrook Dr. NE.

We did not have the pleasure of meeting James, but we heard many wonderful things about him and his family. We Are friend with Luanne(Gayle) Linked and share Thanksgiving in Texas with Paul (Connie) Bartlett. Our prayers for peace and comfort for the family as they celebrate a life well lived.

Jim was a great engineer and duplicate bridge player. I enjoyed many a lunch hour with him. Even though we never actually worked together he took time to answer my occasional questions. Most of all, he was a genuinely nice guy.

Liz, Karen & Connie, So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. From the little time of living on the same street and coming over to play, he seemed to be a wonderful man. Karen & Connie. I have thought about you growing up and wondered where life has taken you. I hope everyone is doing well and you all have my deepest sympathy. Vickie

Jim was a great coworker and friend who loved his family. He was my first office partner when I started working at Collins. He was highly respected and his time was sought after by anyone working with power amplifiers. I inherited my first project engineering assignment from Jim and learned a lot from him on managing a project. When Jim got a call from home, it was immediately his top priority. He was very devoted to his wife and was proud of his daughters. Jim was a diehard Iowa Hawkeye fan, particularly in wrestling and attended many of their meets. Since I am an Iowa State graduate, Jim loved to verbally spar on who had the better sports team, particularly after a weekend where the schools competed. I extend my deepest condolences to all of Jim's family and friends. May all of our memories be a comfort on his passing.
