I just pray that your faith, the presence of family and friends, and the good memories of Mike will be a source of comfort and hope for you. Isaac could not have asked for a better mentor and friend when he began his freshman year at LMHS. Mike was a great leader and example and I know how much Isaac enjoyed being in the trombone section of the band with him. I wish he could have enjoyed more than just the 1 year playing alongside him. I will never forget Mike as a second grader. He was a kind and lovable child.
It brings a smile to my face when I remember meeting him for the first time.
He was a towheaded boy with a shy smile and kind heart. I've read some of the wonderful accomplishments he achieved in his short lifetime. The world has lost a wonderful young man.
