Asia Taqara Grice was born on June 28, 1994 to Morlean Watson and Melvin Watson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Asia received her formal education at Metro High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and graduated in 2012.
Asia was a free spirit and full of life. Asia would often save homeless animals off the street. Asia had a heart of gold. Asia was down to earth and the life of the party. Asia would always see the good in people despite their differences. Asia wanted nothing more than to be a mom, when she found out that she was pregnant with her baby boy (KING). She was overjoyed. Asia was a daddy’s girl and loved all of her siblings and had a special bond with all of her Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Asia was called home on May 1, 2020. She was preceded in death by her unborn son King Grice, Kenneth McDaniel, Uncle Yugen Poston, Grandparents Donna Mae Watson, Shirley McDaniel, Veronica Booker and a host of other family members and friends.

Grandparents Gregory (Katrina) Grice and Carolyn Poston (Lonnie Mixon, Sr.). Aunts Katherine Poston, Ajeenah Mixon, Donnetta Watson and Terry Watson. Uncles Eddie Watson, Ramsey Gray, Lonnie Mixon, Jr., Khemayya Grice, Torre Bey, Amani Booker, Gregory Grice, Alexander Grice and Devon Ninhamm. Honorary Aunts Kimberly Street, Jamie Perkins, Kameron VanDesst, Laquanda Dawson and Latoya Street, and a host of Great Aunts, Great Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. Also leaving her BFF’s Keonna & Shanice and 2 godchildren, Viviana and Jai’Cion.
