I never met Gage, But I've known his parents since they were teenagers. Quality people, great families. I can't, being a father of 4, imagine the lifelong void that something like this leaves. Gage was a student in my classroom at Kennedy. I am so thankful I got to know him and I could tell by our conversations how much he cared about his sisters. He always spoke so fondly of them. Thinking of the whole Underwood family.

Gage will always have a place in our hearts as he was so much a part of our lives as our boys grew up together. Gage was so full of life and energy all the time, I never knew a kid that could do those gymnastic moves without training, he was fearless! He was a good friend and he will be missed dearly.

I remember Gage as a delightful young lad who was very active in sports and was a pleasure to have around. I remember how much he would he would hang onto his Grandpa's every word when he was small. Unfortunately I moved away and haven't had the pleasure of knowing him as he grew older. I however have heard so many good things from Marlene about her grandson. Nothing in life prepares us for losing someone we love. I encourage y'all to remember the good times and to celebrate the memories of Gage. He was loved and he loved his family.
