So sorry to hear about Bill. There were so many memories with our family and yours. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My heartfelt sympathy to Bill's family. I didn't know of your loss until late today (Friday) when I read the Gazette and was shocked to see the obit. Bill was a quiet man for sure. He'd always waved or chatted a bit when seeing him at HyVee or while doing yardwork/mowing his lawn. I saw him last in late summer or early fall and waved at him.

My Father and I knew Bill through delivering Meals on Wheels. He would always be sitting at his table in the kitchen working on his crossword when we arrived, greeting us with a smile. Time and time again we would ask how his day was going and he would always say, "Going great! How about yours?" He never failed to brighten our day and we will greatly miss him.

Sorry to see this as my children and I had the privilege of delivering meals to Mr. Kramer. We knew him to be at the table in the kitchen working on some type of written game. Indeed, quiet and kind. Here's to better days ahead.

Kari, Kelly ,Kevin, Sympathy to all , he was such a nice guy so gentle and quiet , probably quiet because we stirred up the house as kids, huh!! I saw Bill alot at the Hy Vee thru the years we would visit. Fond memories...Kim ,your mom , Kris, Bill and all of you, Peace my friends , Beth
