So sorry to read the news of Harriet's passing. What great memories come to mind when remembering Indiandale Rd and our neighbors, the Gasways! Harriet was a wonderful person and was ALWAYS helping others. My sincerest sympathy to all the family, esp to Bill, Scott and David. May your treasured memories overshadow your grief and help you greet each new day as Harriet always did!

I'm sorry to hear of Harriet's passing. She was our sales rep for the Mercy Print Shop for decades, me working there the past 20 years. Customer service was her thing and would do anything you asked. I will miss her stories she could always make any situation sound funny. Will always remember her spunk. Grant

Harriett was truly the epitome of a mensch- a woman of Valor, not only in the Jewish community, ut also in the wider Cedar Rapids community. She was gentle, yet strong, empathetic yet firm of her convictions, loving, yet steadfast in leading her life in the proper way, a leader, but a good listener. She loved her family and her community. You could feel that love. Lee and I enjoyed her hospitality and inclusiveness. Really blessed to have known her and the Gasway family. May her memory truly be for a blessing.

My deepest sympathies to the Gasway family. Harriet was a very special person that will never be forgotten. I am very grateful for the years of loyalty she gave to us here in Amana. Our prayers are with all of you.

Bill - My deepest sympathy and condolences go out to you and the entire Gasway family. Harriet is a special person and I’m very grateful to have known her as a past employee.

My deepest sympathies to the entire Gasway family. I'm very grateful to have been an employee and student to the Gasways. So many lives have been touched and helped along by Harriet. I hope all will keep this in mind when they remember this great woman.

We are so very sorry for the Gasway family along with the countless others touched by Harriet's warmth and caring. Harriet never failed to greet us with a smile and kind words whenever we were lucky enough to cross her path. Our prayers and sympathy are with you all.
