Coach Voss and Girls- Shared memories, shared joys- these special things keep a loved one close. May you find peace to bring you comfort in the days ahead. Coach- you gave so much of yourself to others back in those good old 70s and 80s. It is now time for some of us to give back to you with our love and support during this difficult time. I send my thoughts and prayers across the miles, and hope you will smile a bit as you reflect as fondly as I do upon those wonderful years in the pool at Washington High! Fondly, Beth (Yeisley) Hibbing

To Jim, Carrie and Jamie; I send my deepest sympathy on your loss and feel your heartbreak with you. I pray you will know peace and comfort soon. I have never forgotten the sincerity and genuineness I felt when visiting your home. I always felt warmly welcomed and especially enjoyed being invited to bake Christmas cookies one year. The love and warmth was evident and inclusive in your family. I know Carol is safe in Jesus' embrace and free of that horrible disease. Hugs and love to you all. Shelly (Graff) Brimeyer

Dear Jim, Your eyes would light up each time you were talking about Carol. Your love for her is eternal as her's is for you. May the love you shared be your comfort and solitude as you await your heavenly reunification.

Coach - I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts. Liz Ehrhart

Coach, “The next event is the junior varsity 500-yard freestyle.” That announcement, of course, would send swim fans streaming toward the exits. Not Carol! There was no way she would miss the next 5-10 minutes of action-packed endurance swimming. She also was quick with a smile and a “good race” at the post-meet cookie social. Always. That mattered so much. Thanks, Mrs. Voss. I’m sorry, Coach. I love you. Cary

Just seeing this now. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I recall Carol in small ways throughout my life, just crossing paths here or there. Just thinking about you all. Peace be with you. Karen

Jim, Carrie and Jamie, Prayers for you all. Carol was a very special lady and I remember fondly the times spent with her at so many swim meets. She is at peace now and may your memories of happy times comfort you.

Jim and family: Mary Jane and I join in celebrating Carol's life. She was always a positive force wherever we connected. The Buddists ask two questions when one transitions to the other side. Did the person find joy in this life, and did they bring joy to others. In Carols life she did both. May God's blessings be with you and your family at this time. I always appreciated all you did to apply your high standards to your many interactions as an educator. W.C. and Mary Jane Jacobson
