Ted and I used to go to old threshers reunion together, He loved talking about the old ways. He was like a father or grandfather to me. He will truly be missed, He could do more with less than anyone I ever known. My prayers are with him and family

Such a pleasure to have known Ted here at Garnett and to have had the privilege of awarding him a Quilt of Valor® to thank him for his service to our Country. Ted will definitely be missed. He was really a cool dude. My sincere condolences.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss to the family and express my sympathy. My wife and I so much enjoyed seeing Ted every Sunday at church as he was so uplifting. He will be greatly missed by all.

Lois, We send our deepest condolences. Ted was a delightful and kind man. I am better for having known him. Much love to you.

Sorry for your loss Lois. Ted was a great friend to everyone who knew him. He will be missed.

Ted was a wonderful neighbor & we marveled at all he did. Not many 90 year olds are sliding under the car to fix it or mowing the hill in his backyard. We were so privileged to know him. Our prayers go out to Louis & all the family

Mr. Kahler was a gentleman. He was the epitome of the US Postal Service and all mail carriers "back in the day." The last two times I saw Mr. Kahler it was at visitations, one for my mom in 1997, and one for my dad in 2009. He was always so kind to everyone he met and could visit with anyone. My deepest sympathies to Sharon, Garv, and Steve as they mourn the loss of their father and father in law. I will see you in the Spring to celebrate Ted's life, dear friend, Sharon.

Ted and his family were members of my father's church, Central Park Presbyterian. His daughter Sharon was in my high school class. Ted and my dad would often play golf together. Prayers go out to the family.
