Pam and Candy - it is hard to believe that more than 50 years have passed since those first days working at the Dragon. Memories of Jack and Roz float through my mind frequently. I have never been able to find Hong Su Har anywhere else! And those amazing frozen cocktails. Growing bean sprouts in the basement to be ready when Jack and Roz got back from a trip to China.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. You know what wonderful memories I have of your father and of your whole family. manual no peace and comfort and cherish the good memories.

Pam & family, my sincerest condolences to you. I had the pleasure of getting to know Jack when I was at WMT & he advertised with me. We worked together for many years and i always looked forward to our meetings! He was always upbeat and a joy to be around and I loved the Dragon Restaurant! My prayers are with your family.

Pam and Candy i'm so sorry for the loss for your father. I went to school with both of you. Pam you were 1 year ahead of me in school and I think Candy was just behind me. Several days before school my girlfriend and I would come over to your house to hang out before waiting on the corner for the school bus to go to school. I enjoyed those times with you. I just wanted to tell you that your father's family buisiness was a stable and wonderful meeting place for families in Cedar Rapids to have food and enjoyment! Jack always came to the table to make sure we were having an enjoyable and delishious time, some times it was his daughter's who came as well. I remember meeting with friends at your establishment after some of our footbal and basketball games. We also had many joint dates with several friends before dances and prom. We always had a great time! Of course those times were so popular we had to make reservations. I'd like to tell you your wonderful talented father "Jack" Wong will be missed not only by you, but by many delighted Cedar Rapids families. Your father and family exuded love and family for our Cedar Rapids area! My condolences and Thanks muchly!

Candy, Pam and Randy: I just want to say how sorry I am to here of your father's passing. I knew nothing about Chinese food when I started working for your dad and learned a lot, not only about the food your dad made, but about his growing up and coming from China. He had a good sense of humor. Pam, I know that you know my present spouse Alvin Ehler, who used to work at Casey's. He sends his condolences too. Hugs from both of us.

Pam,Candy and Randy, so sorry to hear about your father’s passing. You were so devoted to your father he was very lucky to have such wonderful children. I will always treasure the wonder meals I enjoyed at the Dragon.

Pam, Candy and Randy, My sympathies on the death of your father. What a great man to work for! I loved working at the Dragon and have kept in touch with some of my customers and former coworkers over the years. Cedar Rapids lost an institution when the Dragon closed. God bless you and the rest of your family.

My sincere condolences to the family of Jack Wong. I moved to Cedar Rapids a few years prior to Mr Wong retiring from the Dragon. He ran a great place and I still miss it to this day. I wish my wife would have had a chance to eat there with me. Mr Wong sounds like he had a great life, great family and was a great man. He most definitely is woven into the fabric of Cedar Rapids.

Dear Pam and Family - Our sympathy and we send thoughts and prayers to your family. Your Father lived a long, wonderful life. I remember your Mother and Father (and you) always working at the Dragon Restaurant every time I was ever in there! Our favorite food as kids growing up in the 1950's and 60's was food from the Dragon!! Same great quality every time you ate there! We still miss it. Always my favorite place to eat!! Such great memories. Bernie and I send blessings to you and your family.

My condolences to the family of Jack Wong. What an interesting life he had & the best restaurant in Cedar Rapids while I was growing up. I celebrated many of my birthdays there along with my sister, Dad, & Mom, as it was our favorite. It's still talked about to this day as so many of us loved it & miss it.

Pam, Candy and family, sincere sympathy for your loss.

I was so sorry to read of this passing. I still miss the Dragon restaurant and the wonderful food. I always felt welcome when I was able to get to Cedar Rapids. Have never found another restaurant that made Peking Duck either as good or even been able to find it. Condolences to the family.

Pam and Candy and family- I was sad to read of your dad's death in the paper today. What a character! In addition to his pet fish and lengthy descriptions of them whenever I visited, I remember his generosity and kindness. My condolences. Bill Stone
