Dona and family,
On behalf of all the ladies in our Caregivers group, I want to share our sympathy. Though you at times were frustrated with the symptoms of the disease, the love you had for Phil was so evident in how you talked about him. There was even a glow. May the Lord give you His comfort. And keep sharing the memories. I so much enjoyed hearing them during his celebration of life. He indeed had a life worthy of celebrating.
love,
Dixie

I was sorry to learn of Phil's passing. I knew him almost all of my 33 1/2 years working for Deere. I ended up working with him side by side when I transferred to the Tech Center. I taught me a lot about paints and color analysis. He was always low key, knowledgeable and helpful. A true scientist.

Dona, I met you just a few times long ago, but I want you to know that Phil was a great friend to me throughout all the time that we were growing up together as classmates in Humboldt. I admired Phil as a true and loyal friend, and he always set the highest standard for leadership, compassion, warmth, and curiosity. As I said, he was a great friend -- I'm sorry I haven't kept up with him through the years, but I will miss him.

Our sympathy to you Donna and family. You may not remember me. Your mother Darlene gave me news for the Record Democrat as long as she was in Pocahontas. I knew many of your Hudek family members.

I was blessed in being able to work with Phil on projects at the Technology Center over the years. He always impressed me with his patience, good analytical sense and ability to clearly communicate technical issues. His family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
