I always enjoyed Ellen on Thursday's @1:30 for her hair appointment. For many years I was blessed to have her friendship. If there were any questions about Iowa City years ago, she was the one to ask. She had a great memory. She always looked forward to the celebrations with her nieces & nephews. I sure miss her. I know you will too. My deepest sympathy for your loss of this very special women.

To the Lorenz Family/my cousin’s, please accept our deepest sympathy with the passing of your Aunt Ellen. Overwhelming loss in the Lorenz and Heitz families since 7/2018. Starting with the passing of both your parents within 6 months of each other and my father in 6/2019. Now Ellen has finished her work on earth, completing the circle of another great generation. I was so glad I had the opportunity to speak with Ellen at my father’s funeral. I was pleased for Ellen that she was staying physically spry, but most importantly Ellen was sharp as a tack during our conversation. All that at the age of 88 years young at that time. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers during one of life’s overwhelming losses, the passing of your Dear Aunt Ellen. Those of us left to carry on, can take comfort knowing we will be together again through eternal life. Sending Our Love and Heartfelt Condolences, Linda (Lindy) Heitz-Kral and Husband Eric Kral
