Bill & I joined Lovely Lane church with Betty. She was such a sweet person and always had a smile on her face. I remember celebrating her 90th birthday there at the church. She will be missed. ??

On behalf of myself and the Terrace Glen Village family we would like to send our condolences to the family and friends of Betty. It was an absolute honor and delight to have Betty at our facility and see her beautiful smile everyday!

Denise, Randy and family,
Oh, how saddened I was to open up the Gazette this morning and see Betty's sweet face! Like many others, all my memories of Betty are ones of a wonderful person who always had time to visit, catch up with what was happening in her life and to share a hug or two.
Betty's sweet personality never failed to warm the hearts of those around her. She had a way of making one feel they were so glad they had stopped in to say hello.
My memories this morning, Denise, also go back to your dad, Van, and their home on Falcon Drive, their condo on Westchester, you and Randy's home on Country Club in Marion and the Currents--Alma and Bob-- and their condo on Westchester. My memories are linked with the times I helped you all with your real estate moves and the friendship that grew from those transactions. Lots of warm memories surround your family, Denise. I feel blessed to have had the pleasure of meeting and working with all of you.
I will miss the visits with your mom. What a wonderful lady.
May all your memories bring you comfort. Hugs to you. I am sure she is collecting them in heaven. Judy Sloane

On behalf of the Grobstich family I would like to offer our sympathies to Betty's family. My mother, Arlene lived next door to Betty for many years on Westchester Dr NE. They spent many hours talking while eating cookies and drinking coffee or tea. As a frequent visitor to my mother's condo unit I got to know Betty. She was a lovely lady and gave great hugs! Our prayers are with you.
