Linda and family, We were so sorry to hear about Jon. He was always so sincere and caring, and he will be missed by so many whose lives he touched. I wish we could be there for the service, but we are in Arizona. May God be with you and give you comfort.

Those reunions of the cousins were special and I'm looking a a photo from one now. We will miss that big guy, always ready with a bear hug. We're heartbroken, and couldn't work out the logistics to get to Cedar Rapids from Florida in time. God bless your memory, Jon Dixon, and love to you, Linda and family. Chuck & Suz

My heart is very heavy and sad with the news of Jon’s passing. Jon was my very first friend. We lived across the street from one another and the very first day Jon moved in we got in trouble for playing in the street. When my son Nathan passed Jon was one of the first to reach out to me. I send my warmest wishes to Linda and to his family. May god bless all of you. Regards, Denny Gladwin

Jon Dixon was my cousin and we grew up together. If you knew Jon, you remember his smile, his kindness, his sense of humor and love for his family. There will always be a big part of my heart filled with memories of my dear cousin. Now Jon Dixon, on to having more conversation with Uncle Frank. Love forever.

Jon and I grew up in the same neighborhood and went to grade school together at Fillmore. You can view a picture of us as we were in sixth grade on the pictures page. I always wanted him on my team when we played sand lot baseball. He could crush a baseball! One of my fondest memories of Jon is playing catch in our yard with my dad. The few times we ran into each other since those days, he was always glad to see me and I him. He was one of the good guys. Rest in Peace.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Jon was such a good friend and was always there for my father. He always went out of his way to help dad when ever he could. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this extremely difficult time.

Dear Neighbor Family, as a fellow 1966 grad of Jefferson, I remember Jon Dixon as nothing but a nice and caring guy. Friendly and always had a smile. I'm so very sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. God's blessing to you.

Linda and Family. Our thoughts and prayer are with you all. Jon was such a great guy, and such a kind hearted person to be around. Many great memories with Jon on our weekend boat races back in the day.

I'm still in shock. Wish I could be there for the service and give you a huge hug, Linda! Wishing all your family deep comfort and peace.

Linda and family, I worked with Jon for many years and he was always an upbeat person. I have so many great memories and stories of him. He always made you feel important and he always had a since of calmness . Will miss him dearly and I know you will also. I could see after all these years that you both respected and loved each other and that is great.

Linda and family, my thoughts are with you. Memories are a good thing; the guys golfing at Fawn Creek, dancing in Toddville and many get togethers when that generation of Ma Bells boys worked with each other. Jon was a fun loving man and he held his family close to his heart. He will be missed.

Linda and family. Another good man gone too soon. I know Chuck enjoyed his conversations with Jon. I would like to think he is with Chuck talking old times at the phone company. Prayers for you and your family.

Jon was one of the really good ones. This man taught me about golf and about life. Gave me a box of golf balls and an authentic 18th hole PGA flag from a tournament he’d gone to. It’s hanging on my wall now. Jon never spoke over me, always he genuinely listened and was interested in what I had to say. I will miss him dearly. My thoughts we with you Linda
