The family of Henry Davison has my deepest sympathy. Henry was a great model and extraordinary man. The Cedar Rapids Community was greatly blessed by his warmth and caring for people. The Youth Center he sponsored was truly a gift for so many young people. My husband and I participated in a Thanksgiving meal one year at the Youth Center on Third Street.

Henry was truly a great man. His love of the people of his community, especially those who were hurting and living on the margins, was demonstrated by his many acts of love. He took action when others only saw a problem and thought about it. He learned to mobilize the support of others to tackle these problems. I knew him through Rotary Club and the Linn Co. Association of Evangelicals. Henry was a man with a very big heart...how Cedar Rapids needs more men like him! Rest in peace Henry. Well done faithful servant.
