Dear Lynn and Julie,
I was saddened to hear of your mom’s passing, but she is surely healed after years of suffering from the effects of a stroke so long ago . . . celebrating in the presence of God. She was such a pleasant, patient person, as I remember her. It was interesting to read that she grew up in that Central Park area and married at the church —as well as raising her children there. You should be proud of the humble, faithful servants your parents were and the legacy they left.

Lynn and Julie:
I enjoyed having your Mom as my Sunday School teacher so many years ago. Such great memories I have of our Central Park "family". Keeping you all in thought and prayer. Steve Varcoe

I knew Evelyn through Fourscore. She was a lovely woman - kind and friendly. She was a wonderful hostess. Everyone liked her. I'm sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose a parent at any time.

Lynn, the news of Evelyn's passing has closed many circles. Your folks and mine were close friends Whenever I ran into them I had to bring my "A" game. They were very sharp. Hold all the memories close. So sorry I was unable to make the services. Keep the faith. JR Kacena

It was my pleasure to care for Evelyn in her later years of life. It would have been a privilege to have known her sooner. She will be missed.
