Dear Cathie, Billy and Bobby, I have wonderful memories of our families being together. When our parents lived in the same big farmhouse that have been turned into four apartments on the outskirts of Cedar Rapids, they forged a lifelong friendship with each other, the Moores and the Untiedts. In our highly mobile society, how many people can say that today. I adored your parents. I can hear Bill laughing and see that grin right now. Your mother's voice was unique and I can hear her telling me about a special dance at K State and her showing me the elegant dark blue velvet cape that she'd worn. I was checking in with a friend in Cedar Rapids about the storm, and decided to check on Dorothy, which brouht me here. We lost Leonard in 2009 at the age of 103, and Doris in 2011 at 95. I miss them both every day. What great times our parents lived in. God bless you all, Mary Jane

I was so sorry to read about your Mom in the paper. I could not help but think about all of the fun times our families had together. May memories bring you comfort and time bring you peace. With much sympathy, Charlie

I got to know Dorothy when I would visit a church friend Helen. Dorothy and Helen would sit by each other every day. They had a special friendship. My sympathy to the family. She was such a sweet lady.

Dear Cathie, Bill, Bob and families, I am sorry for the loss of your Dear Mom. Please accept my deep sympathy in this difficult time, and know that you are in my prayers. I have so many happy memories with your family, and you are in my heart always. Sending Love, Nancy

I wish to offer my sympathy to Bill, Paula and family for your loss. We have memories from way back to Kenwood School to Methwick where my wife enjoyed helping your mother as a caregiver. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
