God Bless Kevin. I'm saddened today to see he has moved on, but I know he's having a great time in a much better place. You Shannahans are good folk. I'm proud to have been your neighbor while we all grew up ... and your friend since then

I feel like I owe it to Kevin to tell a story that struck me as funny...I might be the only person in the world that remembers it. We are in Junior High (about 1971), playing baseball in our favorite spot, and this pretty High School girl is walking by into Noelridge Park--we all take a look at her. I'm at shortstop and I think, OK that's over, I better focus on the next play--you know it might be a tough grounder to me. Kevin was not focused on the next play. No, no, no. I believe he was thinking about what would be good to do here. Make a face, do an impression, make a remark, something else? Suddenly, loudly, Kevin sings out just two lines: She was just seventeen; you KNOW what I MEAN. A big laugh goes up. I look over at Kevin and of course he has a smile as big as the Moon. One part mischievousness-one part FUN! It was great spending some time growing up with Kevin. R.I.P., Kevin.

To the Shannahan family. We are so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. It was a shock. We had so many memories with Kevin throughout the years from softball to just sitting around having a few beers having a few laughs. Remember all the fun memories that was always happening around him. So sorry we couldn't make it to the funeral. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. RIP Shanny…

Kevin , me and a few guys carpooled to Kennedy, Kevin was a fun person, and always had a one liner to go with it,,, Condolences , to the family...

Tom & family sorry to hear of your loss. You have our prayers & sympathy. Jerry & Therese Houlihan

I met Kevin years ago when he was @ McKesson drug. I work @ UPS and delivered 100 pkgs a day there. Needless to say, we got to know each other pretty well. We are the same age so we grew up doing the same type of shananigans :) I haven't seen Kevin for a long time, but I do remember how easy it was to talk to him from day to day. We could cover any topic and enjoy a laugh about it. I hope this short note brings a little "yup , That was Kevin" smile to his family. Sorry for your loss.

Wonder if Kevin is smiling at the huge number of friends and family that stopped at visitation. Well deserved respect for Kev and the family. It's tough to lose such a great guy but rekindling memories brings smiles. So many poker games......

my condolences to the Shannahan family. I knew kevin since we started school at Noelridge. he was a great guy.

Our deepest sympathy to Shannahan family. Although it’s been years since I’ve seen Shanny I still fondly remember our Indian Ball games, turkey bowl games, bowling team and our feeble attempts at competing in fast pitch softball. Kevin will be missed, but not forgotten!

Scott,Tom, MIckey and the entire Shannahan family..we are so sorry to hear such terrible news of the passing of Kevin. What a great individual and one who cared for everyone. He seemed like he was a friend to everyone who crossed his path and made everyone's day that much brighter. He will be truly missed. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

To all the Shannahan family - I am so terribly sorry to hear about your losing Kevin. I hope the fond memories you have will bring you some comfort and help to ease your grief. I can remember watching the guys playing softball - what a great group. Those were good times. The older I get, the more I appreciate the wonderful neighborhood our family was a part of, with the Shannahan's right next door. My prayers and blessings to you all. Ann (Wolfe) Pasker
