Sending the best to Ruth's children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Ruth was one of my favorite aunts, always warm and welcoming. She lived an interesting and hardworking life. I particularly appreciated at family dinners her practice of asking each of the children to share the latest in their lives. I also enjoyed her abiding interest in things Norway and keeping those traditions alive. She had a kind heart and will be very well remembered by many. Her nephew, Paul Harstad

Ruth & Waldo were good friends. It all started when Waldo played racquetball with Larry at New Life Fitness Center. When they were still in their home, we would visit them & bring fish for Ruth that Larry had caught. It seems we always came home with goodies they had made. Ruth was one of the sweetest people you could ever know. Rest in peace lovely lady. Larry & Deanna Robinson

We taught with Ruth in the Marion Independent School District. Her work with Marion students showed the love she gave out to everyone plus the organization and hard work that was part of her life. We are fortunate to have known her and have many fond Norwegian memories of her!
