Steve, Sue, Barb, Scott and family, We are so very sorry Jerry has passed away. We both remember your family when you lived on 29th St NE-back in the go cart and First Congregational days. Your parents were always so gracious and welcoming. Then, Jerry and Audrey had a wonderful life together and were always so friendly. We both really appreciate all the many volunteer and professional contributions Jerry made to the community. He was a true leader. We hope your faith, family, friends and good memories will sustain you at this time. Fondly, Juli and Marty

Dear Barb and Steve, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Thank you for sharing your dad with us. He was a kind and caring man and I am so glad I got to know him. Keystone has made a donation to the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight in honor of Jerry. Jerry loved the honor flight trip he took!

Scott, Barb and family, I’m so sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. He was an amazing man and I worked for him for many years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Cherish your Memories. Barb and Linn Wiley

Dear Steve, Susan, and Family, We wanted to let you know how sorry we are for your loss, and that you are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless all of you. Bert Katz and Toni Neta Susan, please give me a call sometime. I have tried to contact you in the last month, and don't have a number anymore.

Our condolences to Jerry's family. We always considered Jerry a good friend and we feel lucky to have known Jerry and his family for many years. Jerry was a very special person and we have many great memories. Jerry had an amazing and interesting life and he touched the lives of many along the way and for that we should celebrate his life. Our prayers to the family. Wayne and Judy Kinney

I first met him when he was running for office. I was impressed with his leadership skills and his commitment to improve Cedar Rapids. His life verifies that he made a difference. To Steve and all his family, celebrate his life. William C. Jacobson

Shirley and I wish to send your entire family our sincere condolences at what must be a very sad time. We knew the family very well for an all too brief time many years ago. I worked for Jerry at Iowa Pipe for a while and always felt that he was an honest, sincere, caring individual. He had an amazing life. We have always had the greatest respect for him and the family. Wishing you all the best possible wishes. You have our prayers. Sincerely, Don and Shirley Turecek

Dear Steve, Susan and Family. Please accept our most sincere condolences. The passing of your father Steve at age 93 must be hard to accept and has brought sadness to all of your family. But at the same time you can now celebrate a wonderful and long life that Jerry lived. We extend to you our sympathy and best wishes at this very difficult time. Sincerely, Wayne and Linda Martin.
