Dear Shawn & family ~ I had the joy of teaching kindergarten with your mom at Truman Elementary 1965-68. We had so much fun together and I learned a great deal from her. We have kept in touch all these years, and I feel such sadness learning tonight that she has passed. Your mom loved you deeply and will want for you to be happy. I am holding all of you in care. Dear Shawn, You have my deepest sympathies in the loss of your mother. She was someone I always looked up to and she taught me how to be a better teacher and person. So sorry to hear about the loss of Mrs. Feddern! She was a teacher that made a huge impact on me as a child, one I have never forgotten. She was always so kind and loving to all. Still to this day, the apple ornament she gave me hangs on our tree. Hugs to all her family!
