Bruce Appleoff, 73, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with Certified Celebrant Jim Parton. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. In honor of Bruce the family request you wear casual apparel.
Bruce was born on April 6, 1945 to Richard and Bernice (Robertson) Appleoff in Bainbridge, Maryland. He attended the University of Wisconsin and was Self-employed for many years. Bruce was united in marriage to Sue Schollman on August 27, 1976 in Rock Island, Illinois. He enjoyed reading, music, cars, pets, and most importantly spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Sue; daughter, Libby (Todd) Richardson; grandchildren, Harper and Hadley; step-mother, Gwen Appleoff; and siblings, Mark Appleoff, Janell (Bill) Broton, and Michelle (Tom) Chandler.
