I too wish to extend my condolences to the family of Roy. He hired me in 1980 and provided valuable advice and direction for me. He was a great sports enthusiast attending many state basketball tournaments and Prime Time Iowa basketball games. Many cherished conversations. Roy was a good man and a gentleman and I am grateful for knowing and working for him.

By the time I started with UFG Roy was already with the company 20 years and I was lucky to get to know and work with him for another 21 years. For all that time Roy was true professional in the business, well respected by all and had just an explosive laugh that could make your day. We remember him well. My prayers and thoughts are with the family.

I worked with Roy back in the 70's at UFG. I learned a lot about insurance under his direction. I will never forget the last TWIGMI celebration Roy attended. He was so proud of the many people he had hired and was excited to see that they still were with UFG. RIP Roy!!!

Very sorry to hear of Roy’s passing. Roy hired me at UFG back in 1984, and I am forever grateful for that. Roy and I had many great sports conversations through the years. Roy had a lot to do with the early success of UFG.
