We were lucky, so very lucky to live next door to Marilyn for 13 years. I'll remember the first time we met forever. Always the best neighbor, she welcomed us to the neighborhood with a loaf of homemade bread, and an invitation to an accordion concert. I think of Marilyn each and every day. I loved seeing her smiling face. Jeff and I are sending you our love.

I was lucky to knit with Marilyn in her Saturday morning group over the past 4 years. She was a smart, witty woman and I was glad to know her.

We moved two doors away from Marilyn about eight years ago.
We did not meet her family but she spoke of all with pride and love. She was a kind and generous person and great fun at the neighborhood parties. She will be missed.

Marilyn will be missed. Her sense of humor will be missed, along with her snort of derision when it was justly merited. She loved to help with knitting, if it was turning a heel or sharing a pattern (her thermal mittens are renamed Marilyn Mittens in my notebook). She spoke with love and pride of her family, knowing you are all more than handknit-sock-worthy! May your memories of her be like one of her spit-spliced bonds between two ends--stronger by being shared together and never torn apart, thus bringing you comfort during this time of grief.

Oh, Tracy and Sean. I was so sad to hear of Marilyn's passing. Her smiling photo here reminds me of her great sense of humor and the laughs we shared across the back yard years ago. She was a great neighbor and friend. I'm so sorry for your loss of this classy, sassy lady. Brad's and my deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Toni and I shared so many times together with Marilyn and Don. There were many church events, but most of all were the times in our homes where we shared our lives and families. This finely became the times when Marilyn and I would share pew at Peoples after Toni died last year. These condolences come from both of us. Love Ron

I really enjoyed working with Marilyn for several years in the Research Office at the old ESC building, we actually had some fun during work hours. She was a great educator but her family always came first which was very apparent in our conversations about them. I was always amazed at her energy and dedication, not only to her work, but her devotion of caring and love for Don. Marilyn even sent me a sympathy card when I lost my dog. So sorry for her family's loss of this beautiful person, sending prayers!

Marilyn's beautiful legacy lives on in her daughters and her grandchildren. It's evident that they get their caring nature and their zest for life from her. Sending love to Marilyn's family, but especially to Tracy, Sean, Patrick, Cara and Molly. Peace be with you.

Marilyn & Don were wonderful, long-time and devoted fans of Liars Holographic Radio Theatre, and their radiant presence in our audience will never be forgotten. Regardless of challenges presented by ill-health, or the challenges presented by caring for someone in ill-health, Marilyn & Don always appeared to be indefatigably in love with each other and in-love with life. It was a great pleasure to have known them both!

I will miss Marilyn greatly and will surely miss watching and listening to her play her accordion at the library and I will miss laughing with her when I saw her at Mercy. My thoughts and prayers are with her entire family - loved her.
