Having run around with Tom and Royal years ago I will add also what a great guy. My deepest condolences to all of his family and friends

Our families were neighbors and friends and "us kids" grew up together. So sorry to hear of Tom's passing and so sorry for your loss! Thinking and praying for you all. Erin Dennison Hefner

Tom was an insurance client of mine years ago and I always enjoyed talking with him and seeing his truck. He was a kind soul who loved his family and his life on the road. My condolences to the family.

Loved to talk to Tom when he would bring the rigs to his shop. He always had a smile on his face.

I enjoyed talking with Tom when he came into VDSC to load. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Uncle Tom, It was the shocking news that brought tears to my eyes. And you made me remember what it was like to cry. God decided it was your time to go. So the family will always think of you. We may have not saw each other for periods at a time, but never good bye Uncle Tom, but I will say to you see you some time again. Love Ronda

A lifetime ago I was a waitress at Marc's Big Boy in Cedar Rapids. Tom was a regular. He was always kind and friendly and even gave me my first ride in a big rig. I smiled every time I saw his truck passing through town - you couldn't miss it. My deepest sympathy to all of you. May he rest in peace and the saints & angels welcome him to paradise.

Sending thoughts and prayers to the family. Tom will be missed by so many.

Julie & family, My heartfelt condolences to you all! May you find peace & take comfort in knowing he's reunited with Finn & will always be watching over you! ~Heidi Baker Frey Pet Hospital
