Jim was a shipmate that served on board USS San Diego AFS-6. We salute you Jim, RIP Jim "Fair Winds and Following Seas"!

We worked with Jim at Quaker Oats for many years. We also bowled with Jim and Terry. We are so sorry for your loss, Jim was a great person. Deb and Gay Strunk

Jim was my best friend in high school our last 2 years. We double dated to the Junior Prom and to the Senior Prom. Jim and I worked together at a local cafeteria. Then we worked together at a local grocery store. When he moved to Iowa from Indianapolis I felt lost without him. May he rest in peace in God's eternal kingdom.

We were very saddened to hear of Jim's passing. We had the pleasure of knowing him for many years. Had great times together from high school and also trips to Vegas and Cruising . In high school Jim, Sam,Jack and I were known as the "4 ACES" that friendship has continued through our lifetimes.Jim will always be an ACE forever.

I had the pleasure of working with Jim at Quaker Oats for many years. He was a kind man with never a bad word or thought coming from his mouth, and he also had a smile on his face. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this most difficult time. Rest in peace, Jim.
