My father, Bill Rucker, and Len played together on the Iowa Manufacturing team mentioned in the obituary. I was a bat boy for that team. Len was on of my boyhood heroes. When I saw Len still officiating in his 70's, he inspired me to become a football official. If you knew Len you know why his age group was called The Greatest Generation. Len, he is with my dad now and they are most likely organizing a baseball game.
