Dear family, My sincere sympathy for the loss of your father. He was a classmate of my husband and they shared a tour of Germany in the 50's. John was a real gentleman, a devoted husband and father. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Patti Chadima

Sympathy and healing thoughts to all of John's family but especially to Linda and Ginger. John was such a beautiful soul, so gentle and gentlemanly. I so admired his devotion to his wife during her stay at Hallmar -- what amazing love! In the Gardens he seemed to enjoy the birds (I stocked the feeder) and told me about the feeder he'd had at his house. He was so excited when either Linda or Ginger were visiting. So much love in the family. (my husband Gene was in the Gardens as well)

wE REALLY HAD NICE MEMORIES OF JOHN'S HELP. NICE GUY!

To John's family: I had the pleasure of knowing John when I worked at Elderkin & Pirnie many, many years ago. He was always so kind and I had great respect for him. John was a true gentleman. May God be with all of you.

Linda, Ginger & families I got to know John more from his dedicated time for Joyce. His was so loving & truly committed to Joyce & loved his family dearly. He was a very kind person & I know you will miss him. We send our Thoughts with Prayers to all you Dear Ones. God Bless Your Family . John Rest In Peace. Bob & Bev Hanson

Linda, Ginger and families, I had the honor and privilege of being one of your father’s law partners. He was such a kind, intelligent and interesting man. It seems he had traveled everywhere! I loved hearing his stories about his experiences and enjoyed practicing law with him. He spoke of you often, and with great pride. John truly loved his family. He will be greatly missed by many people. I wish I could be there to give you hugs in person, but I’ll have to settle for virtual hugs, along with my prayers.

Big hugs to family. Wish I could be there. Many wonderful memories. Fantastic obit. Really enjoyed the family history before I knew him.

To all of John's family - our deepest sympathy to you all. He was a delightful man, articulate, intelligent, and kind. Your loss is deep as is the loss to our community.
