I am so deeply saddened to hear of Jims passing. Gary and I both want to send our deepest sympathy to Elise, Paula, Pam, Jim, and all your family. I grew up two doors down from you all and ran around with Patty for years. Elise and my Mom Pat were good friends with each other and neighbors for years. I remember Jim fondly. He was always friendly and always had a big smile on his face whenever I was over at your house. He always had an emaculate mowed yard like ours. He was always working out in his yard or garden. He loved being outside. And Elise always kept a clean house and was always friendly too. So deeply saddened to hear of your husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather's passing. I have many fond memories of Patty, Elise, Jim, Paula, Pam, and Jimmy. I was in school with Patty from Kindergarten through high school and we spent many years and a lot of time together. I was so deeply saddened when Patty passed with cancer too. Sending all our love, prayers, peace, hugs to all the Patterson family. Jim will be deeply missed by all. He was a wonderful man and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather. He was a joy to be around and was a hard worker for many many years like my Dad. He never changed. We were neighbors to them for 50 years. God Bless you all during this difficult time.

Great Aunt Elsie Ray, So glad to be able to see you and Great Uncle Jim this past summer at the Fourth of July. As an out of town family member, there were limited times that I shared in his company. However, it was easy to see his spirit and sense of fun on those occasions over the years. God bless you with sweet remembrances and encouragement in this time of loss for you and the rest of the family. Praying for you!
