I have such fond memories of volunteering with Irene at Aid to Women many years ago. She was a humble, loving person who lived her faith. I'd like to be more like her. God bless you in the days ahead.

Irene was an amazing Christian woman and a dear friend of my mom, Jackie Taylor! They shared many great times at First Baptist Church..I bet they are having tea together! Blessing to all of her beautiful family.....

Irene and I often rode together to various area and region ABW functions. It was my joy to have her accompany me. She was always so supportive and kind, a perfect example of a true Christian lady. I loved her sense of humor, too! She spoke of her family with love and gratitude--my sympathy and prayers to you.

I was saddened to lean of Irene's death. She was an enormous help as a volunteer at the Indian Creek Nature Center. Irene helped the Guild raise money that enabled the Nature Center to introduce the beauty of our natural world to tousands of children. My thoughts go to her family and friends. Rich Patterson
