We just learned today of John's passing and are shocked and saddened to hear about it. We have always thought of you as good friends, having known you since Coe College days. Through the years we have continued to keep up to date on your family and enjoyed being able to attend John's birthday party a few years ago. Our sympathy and prayers are with you.

I met John & Barb through mutual friends some 18 years ago. Reading his life background in his memorial, the first 5 words, "Humble sinner, servant of God", I believe, sum up and describe his life beautifully. At this difficult time I send my Christian love, hope and comfort to you, Barb and your family. With God's Grace and Hope, I look forward to seeing John at the reunion in Heaven! God's Blessings!

Dear Rosenbergs - It has been my great pleasure to have been friends with Sonnie since Franklin Middle school. She is a delightful, loving and kind person who always gives of herself to others. I am sure that she learned that from her parents. I was so pleased to get to hear John preach a few years ago. Having grown up with Karl and knowing the Rosenbergs since the '70s, I have strong memories of John as a loving father and husband, a strong athletic man and as a hard working individual.
