Our deepest condolences to the entire Ottaway Families; From how Chad & Tosh described Jerry, this is a man I wish we had more time to get and know better. A man of strength in a silent and respectful way. Our wishes go out to his great grand children to listen to their parents when they speak of him. A man of Love for Family that will always live on in their hearts and spread to their children. May he rest in peace.

Joyce, I am so very sorry for the loss of you sweet father. Hugs to you and your whole family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

So sorry for you loss , prayers for all.

Jerry came into my life when I was very young and he taught me so much. He survived my learning how to cook, helped me raise my kids and helped me with my marriage. He was a quiet man with not a lot to say but when he did talk... you better be listening!!!! What an amazing brother-in-law he was; actually more like a big brother. He was always there for the kids with a wise ear or a joke. We all have so many happy memories of the fun times and laughter. How we will miss him as we will forever hold him dear to our hearts.

My fondest memories of Uncle Jerry will always be his humor (especially the jokes that only a truck driver can tell), his stories about his youth, his hunting trips or training new truck drivers who had no right driving a truck let alone owning a license, his devotion to his parents, aunts and uncles and his and Aunt Shirley's unrelenting support for their family when they needed help.

Sharene, so sorry for your loss. Prayers to your entire family. Deb
