So sorry to hear of your father's passing. We lost ours April of 2014. He was an absolutely wonderful pastor and what a gentleman. Have many wonderful memories of him as a pastor, neighbor and friend. Mark ,Peter, Debbie and Becky you are all in our prayers.

Our family is so sorry to hear of Rev. Oswald's passing. As a young girl at the West Des Moines United Methodist Church, he was one of the first pastors that I really got to know. He was a friendly, well-spoken and a very good pastor. I had great respect for him. I send prayers to all of you.

So sorry to hear of Rev. Oswald's passing. He greeted us back to the church here in Iowa Falls upon our return. Our prayers are with all of you.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Ozzie was my pastor at Grandview when I was in high school. He was my hero - loaned me his car to get my first driver's license, had me on a committee to design the front stained glass window at Grandview, drove me to Clear Lake church camp every summer, headed up the youth outdoor Easter sunrise service though a couple of us had to go wake him up because he almost slept through the service, encouraged me (along with Loraine) to wear Bermuda shorts to a church service. Without him my high school years could have been quiet, but instead I had fun and came much closer to God. God bless him and each of you.

Thoughts and prayers to the family from Kathy Nicholson. I have fond memories of growing up in the West Des Moines Methodist Church with Rev. Oswald leading the way.

Love, prayers, and sympathy from Helen & Lawrence Hunter's children; John Hunter, Joan Brown & Janet Carmer. We remember your family well. God Bless.

Mark, Peter, Debbie and Rebekah, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you. As my "Uncle Rollin", I will always remember a kind, at times funny (with Grandpa Oswalds' dry sense of humor), and honorable, honest man. I am looking at a photo of you 4, UncleRollin and Aunt Loraine, Aunt Doris, Grandma and Grandpa Oswald, sitting around the long table one day for the Thanksgiving meal. Again, my deepest sympathy to you all.

We are saddened to hear of Rollin's passing, but brightened by our memories of Rollin and Lorraine's intersection with our family. We'll never forget his wonderful sense of humor (telling the congregation that Cathy had made a hole in one at golf but couldn't tell anyone because it was on Sunday morning). Also the way in which they helped the congregation of St James accept their first female pastor! A pregnant one, at that, with his delightful quip "It's been far too long since we had a new baby in the parsonage!" He was wise beyond imagining as a mentor during our years at St James. Rollin will always have a special place in our hearts. Cathy and Mike

Mark I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Please accept my sincerest sympathy.

Your father was a very personal person. He always showed love and respect to us. I know he will be missed but I know he is at peace. Thanks for his service to our country and church. God bless, Pastor Bob and Martha Sabo??

Ozzie was my pastor and a mentor. He was loved and will be missed. Mark, Peter, Deb, and Becky you are in my heart and prayers. I remember your dad and mom at our house and in our timber and Christmas tree patch many times for meals and picnics. I also remember sitting in the car beneath the I 35 overpass as a tornado went over. We were on our way back from Annual Conference. Love to you all on behalf of the Kelsey family (past and present).
