Jane Magdalen Struve, 91, of Cedar Rapids died on Saturday, June 25, 2016 after spending 3 years at Northbrook Care Center in Cedar Rapids. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Visitation at 9:00 and Mass at 10:00.
She was born on November 2, 1924 in Clinton, Iowa to Clare and Martha Seifert. Siblings were a brother, Clare Jr. and sister, Clarice.
After attending school in Clinton and Galva, Illinois, she graduated from Immaculate Conception in Cedar Rapids in 1942.
Following jobs at Penick and Ford and Cherry Burrell, she married Richard Struve on October 30, 1948.
Survivors include daughter, Rae Jean Yakish (Bill); son, Richard (Diane) and son, Robert. Grandchildren: Brian, Brent (Erin), Brad, Jana Zach (John), Stephanie Morris (Nick), Stacey Hill (Will); great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Camden, Greyson, Ainsley, Christian, Emma, Avery, Olivia; a sister-in-law, Elaine and many nieces and nephews.
Those preceded in death include her parents; brother; sister, and husband, Jerry; and her husband, Ray who died in February 2016.
