Bill hired in me 1979 as an FSE. He had the confidence in me to give me a career opportunity that changed my life. Bill was always there giving me support, advice and guidance. More than that, he was a true gentleman. My sincere condolences to all his family. Mike

Bill was one of the best leaders we had and always looked out for his people. Going to work for him in 1973 was the best. We will all miss and remember him. He set the standard Jim Ogann

My Sincere condolences to the Ellis family and friends on their loss of Bill. I will always remember him for his compassion and dedication to the people who worked for him. He hired me in May of 1973 as field service engineer for the New York office and by far he was the best mentor I ever had during my 30 year career with Collins. Although I had moved on to other positions within the Collins organization I will always remember the support Bill provided me during my career pursuits with Collins. Bill was and is a true gentlemen, May he rest in peace. Bill Burnore

We are sorry to here of your loss. Your family is in our prayers. I had a lot of memories as a kid with Willam sense I am one of Emily's friends. Sometimes Emily and I would go to her grandma and granpda's house on Sunday's after church and he would be sitting in his comfy chair with Snowball a dog that Emily use to have. He would love to tell us stories about fun adventures he had on trips and everything like that. He was just was a fun and lovely guy to meet as a child even though he wasn't my real grandpa he was still apart of something to me. My prayers are with you Emily, Quinton, Bruce, and Marlee I love you all dearly! :)

What a great man he was! Sending our love to you, Ben, and to the rest of your family. xoxoxox

So many things that still needed to be repaired....he just ran out of time. A fine man with a big heart...rest in peace Bill

I'm so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I never worked directly for him, but we did cross paths many times. He was truly a good guy!

Bill had a defining role in my early career. Teaching me the importance of people and relationships and integrity and persistence. As many who worked him will recall, hanging on his wall in his office were these words "Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence...Persistence and Determination alone are omnipotent." Good Bye, good friend. Thank you for all that taught me. My deepest condolences to the Ellis's from the Long's

Sorry I would like correct a mistake as think "model" was not an appropriate word, I would rather say a reference .

Bill, you're gonna remain in my memory, until the end. As I'm french, I never had an american boss and you are still a model of leader for me. Rest in peace !
