Ann-I heard from our Regis classmate, Jan Duffy (remember?), that your mother had passed. I was sorry to not realize her passing in time to give you my condolences and stop by the funeral home to give you my regards. I am hoping you found strength and your future rests peacefully with all of your shared memories. Take care~

To all the Curtin family especially my buds from Regis, Dan & Don….my sympathies to you and your entire family…I easily remember seeing your mom every time I was downtown and bopping around Armstrong's…she always remembered my name and had a big smile….she was like my mom I'm sure, full of love for her family. I sure my mom, Rosemary and her will be in the big rosary club in the sky. Tim Hines & family, Cedar Rapids, Iowa

My deepest sympaties. My parents loved your parents and they enjoyed some great times together. Donna was a great support for my mom, Lois, after she had to move out of Cedar Rapids. They had many long phone conversations as Donna updated mom on all the current events in CR. Mom truly enjoyed Donna's visits in West Bend too. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Mary Lou

Our deepest sympathies to your family. We were neighbors of Donna's for years and always enjoyed her kind words and visits, usually when we were outside and she was out walking. Peace to you all. Mike and Chris Runneals

I so loved your Mother and all the fun we had in Arizona together. I remember one day Nita asked Donna if she went with Bob when he picked every tree clean in Paradise Valley to get lemons for her pie. Donna said, "I don't try and keep up with that little snot." It was hilarious. Bob older now yet still her little brother. Those winters watching Cletus, Betty, Bob, and your Mom. Man that's the good stuff. At the end of the day us girls were suppose to settle down and get to bed so we could get to Mass in the morning. We just had to go into Donna's room one more time and there she was saying her evening prayers. Love them Hefferns. Feel so blessed to have known Donna.your Mom.

I was only an acquaintance of Donna but I am writing for my step-dad Everett Kubik who lived across the street in Cedar Rapids (34th St if my memory is correct)for many years. He wishes to extend his condolences to all of you, very hard to lose a loved one especially a mother. He tells the story of when you all moved into that house across the street. He says people would ask how are you going to deal with having 6 kids in the neighborhood. He says they were the best 6 kids ever and best neighbors a person could have asked for. My Mom didn't live there to many years before they moved to Lisbon but she spoke highly of Donna also. So sorry for your loss.

Judy, Dave and family, I am sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother. Donna always had a smile and "hello" whenever we met. She loved her family and faith. Hold those special memories close to your hearts. Carol Olson

Our condolences go out to the entire family. Being Jenny's sister, Donna was part of our "extended family" and we hold dear the memories of her and Walt. We'll remember you in our prayers and that the funeral will be a testament to your love and you'll hear many new "memories" from family and friends. Bless you, Charles and Joni Crave and family.

Ann-Marie - I didn't know your Mom but can tell what a wonderful soul she was and how many people she impacted during her lifetime. From what I've seen & read here, she reminds me of my Mom in so many ways and I am so sorry for your loss. You, your sisters and brothers were so lucky to have such a caring & loving mom. I'm sure you all have wonderful memories. Celebrate a life well-lived, and carry her in your heart always. Your friends at Oracle

My heart is broken. Walt and Donna have been our next door neighbors since 1999. Grant and I were so blessed to know these wonderful people, so many great memories I hold in my heart. Now they are all together, reunited in Heaven. Loving you forever, Donna...I know you are soaring with your angel wings! Thank you for all the memories and for sharing your wonderful family stories with me...all my love to all the Curtin "kids".

So sorry for your loss. I didn't know your mother well but when I think of the Curtain kids, I KNOW she was a fantastic mom.

I will always remember the excitement of getting off the escalator on ARMSTRONGS 2nd floor to be greeted by DONNA and ushered to see the latest newest coats!! Who could resist her input on what to buy and when to buy it..I simply could not.I still have many of DONNAs coat suggestions in my closet..and Wendy Wisehart was a friend of our Kathys..and I remember Cory too....so sorry for your loss of this amazing lady....we also knew Walter.....blessings to all of you in your family....you will be in our prayers....Sally and Gene

So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We pray for comfort in this time. She was a fine lady. Our love goes out to the family.

Donna's family- Sorry to hear of your loss. She was a very nice lady and neighbor in our neighborhood. Her delivering treats over will also be missed and seeing her out walking. Again, sorry to hear your family's loss. May God bless you always.
