Steven Frank Zieser, 48, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. A celebration of life will be held from 11-2 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.
Steven was born March 22, 1967, the son of Frank and Elsie (Price) Zieser in Cedar Rapids. On June 7, 2003 he was united into marriage to Jennifer Anderson. Steven worked as a freelance artist and was very talented. He was big into gaming and roll playing. He was an avid fan of all things sci-fi, specifically, Star Wars and Star Trek. Steven enjoyed watching cooking shows and traveling with Jennifer. They took many trips together that included Italy, Mexico, and all over the United States. More than anything, Steven was a devoted husband. He and Jennifer were inseparable and he will greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife Jennifer Zieser; parents, Frank and Elsie Zieser; siblings, Allan Zieser, Jeannine (Dave) Larcom; Roger (Wendie) Zieser, Jennifer (David) Drury; nieces and nephews, Jenny and Paul Larcom, Austin, Amber, and Alexa Peterson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
