Patricia “Patti Jo” Barth, 74, of rural Marion, Iowa, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at her residence.
A private memorial service will be held.
Patti was born March 5, 1941 in Hot Springs, South Dakota to Lorene (Henry) and Frank Eilers, Jr. She graduated from Sacred Heart School in Monticello, Iowa. On September 5, 1959, she was united in marriage to Joseph Barth at Sacred Heart Parish. To this union, five children were born.
Patti was self-employed in cleaning services and a mother to many.
She loved her flower gardens and playing in the dirt. She was gifted in many ways, more than most ever knew. She was tenderhearted and adored animals. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
She is survived by daughter Lisa Barth of Florida; sons Jamie (Tanya) Barth of Robins and Jeff Barth of Alburnett; grandchildren Sydney and Ryan Barth; sister Terri (Terry) Haugh of Cedar Rapids; nieces Lindsey and Allison and nephew Christopher.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph in 1998; daughters Dondee and Lori; as well as her beloved grandson Elijah Main.
