I am so sorry I was under the weather and not able to visit George in his last few days at hospice. You all were in my thoughts and my mom and I spoke often about her visits. I know that George breaking out in song with Jesus Loves Me this I Know... brought joy to her heart and some peace knowing that God was speaking to George and preparing a special place for him. RIP George until that big Irish reunion in heaven! Love you all and will pray you all find peace and comfort in the coming days.

May the peace God gives sustain your family during this difficult time. Lean on one another as the days ahead become too hard to bear alone. Share your memories, they will be a source of joy. Seeing the promises in God's Word the Bible will help you to gain strength and fortify your hearts, granting you comfort. (2 Thessalonians 2:16,17; jw.org)

George would be "Irish" to us...he entered our lives in 1965 when he washed the windows of Chatty Kathy's Restaurant in Town & Country Shopping Center. He would sit his children, in their infant seats on the table, as he delighted in showing them off. We followed much of his career, losing touch with him over the years, but never forgetting his hard work, great personality and friendship. We will be out of town and can't say our final goodbye to him. So to his family and friends...Sheryl and those that loved "Irish".... we extend our sincere sympathy. Kathy and Jack McArtor

Sheryl and family, I've told you before, but want you to know how very saddened we are with the passing of your husband, father and grandfather. George was always there to protect me and ready for a big hug and kiss. He, Denny and I were real buddies( as we were the last ones at home. )He certainly loved you Sheryl and his family. He was an excellent cook and loved to spoil you as much as he could,

George, you are the love of my life. We did everything together. We bowled, fished, gambled, camped and watched many NBA games together. (go Spurs) and loved watching Zach Johnson golf.
Thank you for all of the memories we created. I will cherish every one off them. I love you with all of my heart and always will. Sheryl
(Thank you Mark for taking him fishing and being his good friend over the years)

I will always love you daddy! I will always keep our times together near and dear to my heart! You were the best dad, father-in-law and grandfather my family could have ever had. Lilly will miss your cookies and the special candy bars you would have in your shirt pocket at the end of her visits! I will miss mushroom hunting with you every spring. And Shannon will miss having you as a father figure. We love you so much! Sandy
