Gregory Q. Dean, 49 a resident to Crestview Acres in Marion died there on Monday April 27, 2015. Services at 10:30 Am on Thursday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Cedar Memorial Certified Celebrant Paula Meyers will officiate. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral home from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday.
Survivor include his wife Tammie, his mother Peggy, a brother Christopher and a step son Sean Zirtzman all of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by a nephew Samuel Dean and his dog Ripley. He was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Anna Mary Dean.
Greg was born on April 20, 1966 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids in 1984. He married Tammie S. Wilkinson on February 5, 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Greg was an installer at J-Star for over 27 years and proudly served in the National Guard.
He enjoyed gardening, bowling, fishing, traveling, especially going to Las Vegas and the time spent with his beloved family and many friends.
His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
