Memorial

David E. McNabb, 48, passed away peacefully at the Oldorf Hospice House, Saturday, April 4, 2015, following a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include wife, Evonne; four children; daughters, Dawn (Matt) of Tacoma, WA, Tiffany of Van Horne IA, and sons, Tory and Dillon, both of Cedar Rapids, IA; grandchildren, Karmyn, Madilyn, Zavier, Ava, and Gino. He will be greatly missed by friends and family and by his Aunt Jackie (Carney) with whom he shared a very special bond.

David E. McNabb was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Jan. 8, 1967, the only child of David and Michele McNabb. Dave was preceded in death by both of his parents.

David will be fondly remembered by many as a superb bowler, for his dedication to the bowling industry, and for his outstanding mentoring and service to customers of PBC. He enjoyed coaching, fishing, golfing, live music, and especially enjoyed bowling in tournaments across the nation. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and a devoted friend to many.

The family extends sincere gratitude to the considerate staff at the Hall Perrine Cancer Center and to the Hospice of Mercy team for its outstanding and compassionate care.
