My deepest condolences on the passing of your mother. Heartfelt sympathies for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

To all the Goedken Familys, First, I send prayers to all of you. I wish I could take away the pain of missing your Mom and also your Dad. Second, Your Mom always had such a beautiful smile and was always so nice to be around. I enjoyed catching up with her any time we crossed each others paths weather around Monticello or CR. Third, I feel very sure that Janice and your Dad Bernie and My parents ( Jim and Sharon White ) are having one heck of a party up in Heaven and having so much fun shareing how Amazing it is up there and how proud they are of you all down here on earth. No pain, no hurting for any of them anymore.. I live in my Grandma and Grandpa Millers house now and for the last 10 years and not a day goes by when I don't think of all of us having a great time in Castle Grove.. God bless Kevin W and family..

We were so sorry to hear of Janice's passing. She was our backyard neighbor here in Cedar Rapids. We were talking just the other day about the day we moved in. She stopped by in the morning and said she was going to bring us "MaidRights" for lunch. Being from out of state we had no idea what she was bringing. Of course they were wonderful. We enjoyed many chats across our fence and they were always there to help with a yard or home project. Our condolences to your entire family.

Our land joined in Castle Grove Township. Many memories bring back farming , children growing up together, riding the bus and softball. Ben and Jan were wonderful neighbors and always willing to help neighbors when the occassion demanded. My sympathy to the family.

I wish to express my condolences to Janice's kids, family and to all those who knew and loved her. She was an ever-positive person. Her caring heart and her caring nature, her positive attitude and how easy it was for her to share a smile or a laugh were always so easy to see. I managed projects that Janice worked on at MCI. I always enjoyed running in to her at St. Pius. She was a peach.

Accept our sympathy Thinking of you .

We send our sincere condolences. We worked with Janice at Teleconnect. She was a kind and thoughtful person and a pleasure to work with. The world is a poorer place without her. Heartfelt sympathy for your loss.

So sorry for your great loss .. Janice is a terrific woman... I worked at MCI for 22 yrs until Verizon bought us out and often was on a Team with Janice for many years... She spoke often of Ben, her children & grandchildren -- what she was doing with them that week -- her activities seemed to be built around her family & her church... she always had a smile & kind words to say about everyone... never complained... even when MCI forgot to tell us to cash out our Teleconnect stock - but I think Janice figured it out ... I waited TOO long, and even though it was vested ... MCI said it was too late for me to cash it out .. hope all was peaceful for her because she is a DEAR, SWeeT, lady,,,, always putting her family and faith first ... God bless you all !

Unable to attend the visitation, so wanted to express my sympathy. Janice was my religion teacher at Castle Grove ( made my 1st communion with Mike). I reconnected with Janice years later as she was a patient at a dental office I had worked at. We always had great little chats as I remember her kindness and happy heart.

Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Janice was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.

It saddens us greatly to hear of the passing of Janice Goedken. God bless you as you face these first days and may His grace comfort you in days and years to come. We are thinking of you and praying for you.

Janice was my Godmother. I don't know of a better human being that my parents could have otherwise chosen than her. I've never met a more family minded, caring, and selfless person. She has, and will continue to be, an inspiration to me on how one should lead their life. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Chris, Mattie, Henry, and Beck Brawner
