Susie, Cheryl, Julie, and Amy we are deeply saddened by your loss, may the love of those around you help you through the days ahead... In the words of Albert Einstein, "Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation. For they are us. Our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life".

Dearest Aunt Jane, Nancy, Skip and rest of family.....Tomorrow's weather forecast for 90% chance of snow will prevent us from driving down for the funeral. We are so grateful for the two family reunions that brought us all together. Please, each of you, feel a warm hug from both of us. Our love, Dale and Leanne

I wish I had been able to see you more than I did. But now its too late. When I did see you and Grandma Jane, it was always a lot of fun. I still remember the bird house we built in the garage and everything else. You will be missed greatly.

Im so sorry for the loss of a great man. Roger was my grandma marys friend since wilson school. They shared alot of great memories and trips. They were truely soulmates! Roger was also like a grandpa to me, and walked my mom down the aisle when she married my father. I miss snd love him soo much. God gained a great angel, and i know we will continue to laugh and live his full spirit. To family and great friends. Love you!

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Julie, you and your sisters are his legacy. I can only imagine what a wonderful man he must have been to have raised you to be the kind, thoughtful, compassionate, loving person that you are. The love that you and your sisters share with each other is another testament to his glory. I'm sorry for the pain you feel, however, it is from the loss of someone you truly loved. Sending love and hugs.

I thought of you today, but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too.
I think of you in silence, I often speak your name.
All I have are memories, and a picture in a frame.
Your memory is a keepsake, from which I'll never part.
God has you in his arms, I have you in my heart.

Cheryl, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I didn’t know your father but from you I have learned he had wonderful, giving children that he must have been really proud of. God bless you and yours though this trying time.
For all you have done
For the gifts you have given
For the love you've shown
in the life we are living
we thank you.

I am so sorry to hear of Roger's passing. It has been decades since I have seen a Severide (4th of July picnics in the 70s/80s) but over the years my Father Al has spoken frequently and kindly about him and valued greatly the time they spent together. I am certain that he leaves behind many loyal friends like my father. I will keep your family in my prayers.

Please know that my prayers and condolences are with all of you. Rog gave me my first "real" job, and a trade that has challenged me and kept my family fed my whole life. Rog was a mentor and a friend. He taught me many life lessons, as well as trade lessons. He made me feel like a part of his family. I still think of him often, when I use skills, I learned working for him. PM was the best job I've ever had. Rog was a great boss, He helped give a green Kid a good start in life. I hope it brings you some comfort to know he made a difference in my life.

Julie,I felt so bad when Kathy called me and stated that your father had passed. I know that you will miss him, just think of all of the good times and wonderful memories that no one can take from you. Just know that he is with his Heavenly Father. Please note that everyone on Stoney Brook has you in our thoughts and prayers. May peace be with you.

Julie, If I were there I would give you a big hug.. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. This is a title to a song that I love and it's called HOME.. H is for the holiest of grounds, O is for the one whose love abounds, M is for the miracles we will see and E is for eternity. Your dad is Home.

Julie - I am so sorry for your loss; I know how crazy you are about your dad. And I can tell from his picture that you got your smile and happy disposition from him =) "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you." 2 Thess 3:16

"What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us." -Helen Keller
Looking back on the memories I have of Roger while I was growing up, I can picture him sitting in his chair at PM, talking business, handing out allowance money to the girls, and allowing us to drink soda. I remember looking up to him as a successful business man. He made a wonderful impression on me as a young child and I will always keep these memories close to my heart. Love you all and thinking of you
