GARY:
Sorry to hear about Alice. Wishing you strength.
Denis Hagen

Alice was the best most lovable Sister a man could ask for. She was always pleasant in her contacts with others. She is going to be missed by all who knew her, especially her family and her big brother.

Gary, you and Chris have my condolencs.

I always remember Aunt Alice smiling, being happy, full of joy and life. When I was a kid I loved knowing when we went to Iowa to visit we'd get to see " Aunt Alice" and possibly get a ride on their boat. Alice loved our four children like they were her own grandchildren and our kids loved her like a Grandma. I think Alice impacted me most by helping our kids the day our Mom passed away. David was still in China with Caleb and I was traveling back and our kids didn't have us there. It was Emily's sixth birthday and Alice tried to make that day still feel like a birthday to Emily even though it was a very difficult time for everyone including Alice. She was always loving, had the right thing to say, loved everyone around her and just lit up a room with her beautiful, sincere smile. I know she is with the Lord in heaven and her body is whole and perfect. I am so glad my mom and her get to rejoice at Jesus' feet together and her beautiful smile I have no doubt made Jesus smile too. We will truly miss you Aunt Alice and I hope you know you were and still are truly loved by our family. \\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\nWe love you and can't wait to see you again.\\\\\\\\r\\\\\\\\n

To Gary, Chris and family. I would not have made it through shorthand if it had not been for Alice. We met so many years ago and became friends then roommates and managed to keep in touch all of these years. Like so many others, I will miss her smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Growing up friends with Chris, I was always impressed with Alice's abundance of positive energy, and how involved and supportive she and Gary were as parents. Chris, Gary -- I'm very sorry for your loss.

Alice was a beautiful person. Losing a spouse to cancer is hard. It does get easier, I lost mine two years ago to cancer. Joyce Frazier sends her condolence too,
