I rejoice that Aunt Lena is going to celebrate her 102nd birthday in heaven, but I also mourn her loss. I remember her with great love and affection, thinking of our family get-togethers and many years ago riding the bus home from school with Maria to visit in Waubeek.
God's strength, love and peace to all of us who loved her.

Our sincere sympathies to you Sandy and your family. I know how much you loved your Nanny..she is blessed to have lots of love around her of family and friends

Dearest Sandy,
I am so sorry to hear about your "nanny" to whom you were so close to. I hope she gets to meet Peggy and Bob and many other friends and family. Take care Sandy! You are the best.
Love you,
Mary and Eric

Dearest Maria...I am so sorry to read about the passing of your Mom. She was the sweetest lady. She lived a long & happy life & I know she was proud of all her girls. Again my deepest condolences to you, Tricia, Pam & all her family. Love, Pat & Gary

So many great memories from playing in the rain with us during downpours to her giving our other grandmother the sled ride of her life - right through our playhouse wall. Such a beautiful and fun lady.

I will always remember going to the basement of the house to play with all the old things that were there. I will miss Nanny a part of her is with me here. Love always

So sorry to hear. I will be unable to attend but please know my prayers are with you all. She was a special person.

So sorry to hear about your great loss. Luke 20:30 says; He INSERT INTO guestbook VALUES (God) is a God not of the dead, but of the living, for they are all living to him. Yes, to God, his loyal ones who have died faithful to him, are as good as living; their resurrection is a certainty. So, please find comfort that you may see your Ms. Lena again, very soon.

Maria, my deepest sympathy to everyone involved. I'm aware of what losing a mother is all about. Never a day goes by that I don't think of mine, but know she's in a better place and God will watch over her until we meet again.

So many happy memories of her! Her life was so long and eventful.
