I am so sorry for you loss. Lena was a lovely, positive, lady. Always a happy smile and determined to live every day to the fullest. I rejoice that Aunt Lena is going to celebrate her 102nd birthday in heaven, but I also mourn her loss. I remember her with great love and affection, thinking of our family get-togethers and many years ago riding the bus home from school with Maria to visit in Waubeek.

So many great memories from playing in the rain with us during downpours to her giving our other grandmother the sled ride of her life - right through our playhouse wall. Such a beautiful and fun lady.
