Wilma and Family, So sorry to hear about Micah. Hard to believe it. I always enjoyed having Micah in class. He was a very considerate and polite young man. I enjoyed spending time with him and meeting with you to discuss his progress. You did a wonderful job of bringing him up right. He will be missed.

I still cant believe micah is gone. I miss him every single day. Micah was the type of person where if you where having the worse day ever he could make you feel better in a matter of seconds. He only showed love towards people and always with a smile on his face. Everyone he meet was automatically drawn to his positive attitude and that smile of his. The only thing I know is that my father and other brother joshua are with him now watching over our family. He was brother and best friend I love you micah and I will never forget you. -sethy

To the entire Mehring Family: We too celebrate the life of Micah and his all too soon passing. Our thoughts and prayers go to each of you as you go forward in the days and weeks to come. Micah had so much going well and one of our last exchanges at Hyvee was after Micah's jaw surgery and his proud moments with Wilma's upcoming ( Then) marriage. Micah and the entire family have been a part of my life for many many years. He truly will be missed ! Mark, Tami, Matt, Kate and Taylor Rowell

Wilma and family - I am so sorry to hear about Micah. I remember the day he was born like it was just yesterday. Be greatful for the years he could share with you and be blessed that you have another angel watching over you. You are in our thoughts and prayers. love always...

Dear Wilma, I was out of town for several days and just learned of Micah's death. I am so very sorry for you...words just aren't adequate. Although I had not met your son, I certainly remember the stories you shared. We're here for you.

Les and I are so sorry to hear of the death of this young man. Although after reading all the kind words of many, we feel we have missed something by not knowing him. Although we can't come to the service, please know we are thinking of you. Les and Lynda Stratton

Wilma and family. Sorry to hear about your loss. Keeping your family in my prayers. May you find peace and strength in God during this difficult time.

5 years ago we invited Wilma and Micah to go to Branson with our family. We had so much fun seeing shows, shopping and going to Silver Dollar City. Micah and I went on a roller coaster together, not realizing that it started out backwards and went from 0-50mph. Micah screamed and laughed the whole ride. He was so great with my kids who were 2 and 5 at the time, they loved him. He was always happy and you couldn't help smiling when he was around. We all have wonderful memories of Micah and he will truly be missed! Trina

I have been in education for over 30 years and have forgotten many students. But when I saw Micah's name and picture I immediately remembered him from Grant Early Childhood Center. He was not even on my caseload, but I instantly remembered how he lit up his preschool classroom. He was delightful, full of joy and had the best smile. He had a compassionate mother who was a devoted advocate for him. May the love of friends give you comfort, May the love of God give you peace. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Blessings, Carla McMillan Occupational Therapist/ Grant Wood AEA

Dear Wilma and Family, I can't stop thinking about you and your dear Micah. I am so sad and sorry for this terrible loss. You were such a devoted and wonderful Mother to him, and I hope that will give you comfort in the days ahead. Micah was such a loving young man, and couldn't have been the way he was had he not received it from you and the family. Take care, and please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Toni

I am so sorry to see of Micah's untimely death. I worked with him, and his family, when he was a Grant Guppy many years ago. I will never forget his great smile and his great disposition. He is one of those kids that I will never forget because he made my job so enjoyable and rewarding. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Donna Claflin (Speech Pathologist-Grant)

Wilma, Dan, and Seth...we were so saddened to learn of the loss of such a gentle and kind soul. Micah was sweet, loving and playful with everyone. He carried a bright, warm light within him...and his light shines on in our hearts and memories.

I was so shocked to hear of Micah's passing. Almost every school day at Kennedy, Micah would go out of his way to greet me. His spirit was gentle and kind. Always a smile and and a kind word. He will be missed. Mic Herrity Freshmen Facilitator, Kennedy High School

We often forget how precious life can be, and your life was short but will be remembered in ours hearts forever as it was your smile that we will remember always. When we think of the word Angel we think of the little babies who have gone home to the Father but we would like all to know that for 20 years an angel walked, talked, and smiled alongside of us we just didn't realize it until The Lord took you home. May you enjoy being in heaven with The Lord and Dad James Mehring, and our other brother Joshua Mehring. We love and miss you. Leon, Christie, Natasha(Asher),Christopher and Leeanne

Micah was the sweetest, kindest, most wonderful person. Heaven gained a special angel. We will miss him terribly. God Bless you Micah. Love Dave & Kathy

Micah, we will miss you sooooo much! You lit up a room with your smile. You were always happy, kind, thoughtful and ready with a hug. You were so special and I still can't understand why this happened - it is so unreal. You loved your family, and playing games with us all and just made the world a better, brighter place. You are a sweet angel in Heaven now, and I know you are with your Dad. We love you and you are forever in our hearts. Uncle Jerry, Auntie Denise & McKayla

Oh Micah... Where do I begin... This still doesn't seem possible. You were such an AMAZING person inside and out. Your love, thoughtfulness and bright smile was next to none. You always knew when you were in the building :-) I have so many memories that I will never forget, from accidentally dropping you in the doctors office when you were a baby to playing Catch Phrase with you at family events or just talking to you about life in general. You were so caring and just loved everyone. You couldn't help but to feel good or happy when you were around. I was so looking forward to your 21st birthday so we could all go out and celebrate your milestone with you! I'm so lucky and honored to call you my cousin. Heaven doesn't know how lucky they are to have you. I love you so much!

What we remember most about Micah was his smile, he truly could light up a room not to mention his knack for working a room. He had that special gift for showing the world what really matters in life, Love. His love for his family is endless, it goes on. We're grateful we're part of that family. Gary & Mary
