On behalf of the Martinez family in San Diego and Iowa, please accept our sincerest condolences and prayers.

Omar and Brenda Martinez

Dear McCool Family,

Our deepest sympathy for the loss of your father, husband, and grandfather. He should be so proud of raising such a wonderful family and as a family pillar throughout the Cedar Rapids community including All Saints and Regis.

God Bless!

So sorry to hear about your loss. Just wanted to let you know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

What I will always remember about Mr. McCool is how he made me feel as a kid, growing up with Jenni and her family. He was always so kind and encouraging. He made me feel accepted as if I was part of the family...just another kid around to joke with and feed cookies to :) I always enjoyed going to visit that house on Memorial Drive and remember Bill's great sense of humor. Those are treasured memories. I'm so sorry for the loss of your wonderful father. My thoughts are with you, my longtime friend Jenni, and your entire family. Colette

Dear McCool family, my heart and prayers are with you on the passing of your dad. I remember all of the times I was at your house with Theresia, and your mom and dad were always so welcoming. Thank you for the tribute you created for your dad. It was so nice to be able to see all of you and your families. Love to you all.
Betsy and Dennis Boudreau and family

we all remember Bill for the love he had for his family but also the support he gave to Chris Eric and Matt in their sports--he was such a good friend but as happens we drifted away--will always remember him as a close and loving friend--Traynor family

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

To the McCool families:

On behalf of all the Marshalls, we extend our sincere condolences for your loss. Bill was a nice man and a very sharp guy, and loved following your sports events and other activities. He was so proud of all of his kids' accomplishments, yet he quietly stayed in the background as not to interfere with coaches or other mentors, and stood outside the spotlight focused on you. You are blessed to have had such a dedicated and loving father. Not everyone is as fortunate.

God be with you during your time of mourning, and celebration of his life.

Cindy and Family, I was sad to read of you dad's passing and offer my deepest sympathy. I sure enjoyed seeing your family "all grown up"! Where did the years go? Take care and comfort in your memories. Julie

To Bill - an old family baseball trip friend I extend my sympathy to your entire McCool family.

Some of my most cherished memories growing up are of enjoying "Bill's banana pancakes" on Memorial Drive and of hearing him say upon dropping my twin brother Pat and I off at our house: "I'm glad you guys got a chance to see me."

Such a great, gorgeous family INSERT INTO guestbook VALUES (just ask the generations of Regis boys and girls drooling over the McCool girls and boys). Mr. McCool will always have a warm place in my heart for the way he made me feel and laugh as a kid and I will always love and respect him for it. Plus, he made Mike, the best friend my brother Pat and I could ever hope to have.

Much love to all of the McCool family at this difficult time.

Mike Schulte

Remember all the good times we shared growing up. Your family has always been special. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My parents lived next to the Mc Cool family on Memorial Drive. I remember when you lived in a smaller house then moved to a larger house by my parents. Remember all the children growing up..even remember back to when maurice's mother made all the clothes for everyone . Maurice made my shower and party clothes when I got married plus a few maternity clothes later for me. Lots of fun conversations with Bill....and the excitement of every new baby that came along! Such a special family..no wonder he was so proud! remembering all of you at this time. Sally Shaeffer Kopecky

So very sad for all of you on the passing of your father. So many fun memories with all of you and one of my dearest friends, Vicki, growing up.I know you have so much to be thankful for and all those memories will always be with you. From Wonderwoman to Superwoman. Love to all. clk

Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole McCool and Anderson families. So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We always enjoyed his company here in Massachusetts, and were happy to see him again in Wisconsin. Treasure the memories.
